1. What it is and what it is used for
Branike WooKit is extending package for WooCommerce — one plugin that replaces 5 to 10 smaller plugins for the common needs of a Slovak e-shop. It is modular: you can turn each feature on or off individually, so you only have what you actually use.
Covers things that WooCommerce doesn’t handle on its own or handles clumsily: Slovak legal requirements, IČO/DIČ with automatic completion, carriers and cash on delivery, delivery times, cross-border VAT (OSS), digital products, improved checkout process and more.
2. For whom and when
For everyone who sells through WooCommerce on a Branike website — physical and digital products, B2C and B2B. Install it when:
- you are launching an e-shop and you want to have legislation and invoicing sorted out without assembling from many plugins,
- you need cash on delivery, carriers and delivery times,
- you sell to the EU and you deal with cross-border VAT,
- want digital products (e-books, PDF, downloadable courses).
3. What to expect — and what WooKit does not do
What WooKit does: adds to WooCommerce a set of modules (checkout, legal requirements, IČO/VIES, carriers + cash on delivery, delivery times, OSS, digital products, notifications, B2B, CSV export and more), each individually toggleable.
What WooKit deliberately does not do:
- does not duplicate the functions of the Blocksy Pro theme (floating cart, quick view, wishlist, comparison, variants with swatches, sale countdown, etc. — these are handled by the theme),
- payment gateway is not available — payments (by card, Stripe) are set up in WooCommerce, WooKit only supplements them with cash on delivery and logic,
- is not WooCommerce itself — it is an add-on; WooCommerce must be installed and active.
4. Installation and License

5. Quick Start (3 Steps)
- Open WooCommerce → Branike WooKit. Upon first launch, you will be greeted Guide (Wizard) — 4 steps: legal details → company IČO → creation of legal pages → done.
- In the tab Modules Turn individual features on/off as needed (the basic ones are enabled).
- At each field there is help ⓘ; if you are not sure, follow it. You will find detailed instructions in the tab 📖 Guide.
6. Where to Find What
Everything is under WooCommerce → Branike WooKit, divided into tabs:
- 📖 Guide — complete documentation of all modules directly in the plugin.
- Modules — list of features with on/off toggles.
- Checkout, Legal, IČO, Shipping, Inquiry, Thank You, Cart, Bumps, Notifications, B2B, CSV, Admin — settings of individual modules (displayed according to what you have enabled).
Additional standalone pages:
- WooCommerce → Carriers — overview of carriers and cash on delivery.
- WooCommerce → OSS — cross-border VAT and reporting (if you enable the module).
Legal pages (terms and conditions, complaints, withdrawal from contract…) are created as pages with shortcodes — WooKit can create them automatically for you via the Wizard.
7. Overview of modules (what you can enable)
WooKit has 19 modules. The most used ones:
- Checkout — checkout layout and custom fields, Slovak data.
- Legal requirements — terms and conditions, complaints procedure, withdrawal from contract (including a “withdrawal button”), ARS/ADR, Omnibus.
- IČO + VIES — the customer enters the IČO and the company details are fill in automatically; VAT ID verification.
- Carriers + Cash on Delivery — shipping methods and cash on delivery payment (separate guide).
- Delivery time — “we will deliver by…” information on the product page and in the cart.
- Price per unit of measure — e.g. €/kg, €/l.
- OSS (EU VAT) — cross-border VAT on sales to the EU (separate guide).
- Digital products — e-books/PDF/EPUB, “My Library”, reading/playing online.
- Notifications, Order Bumps, B2B, Abandoned Cart, CSV Export, Custom Emails, Product Inquiry, Thank You Page — additional sales and operational features.
Every module can be turned on/off in the tab Modules and set it in its own tab.
8. Tips and Best Practices
- Go through the Wizard right at the beginning — handles the legal pages and company details for you.
- Turn on only what you use. Fewer active modules = cleaner administration and a faster website.
- Do not configure features that the theme already has (cart, wishlist, variants) — handle them in Blocksy, not here.
- Check legal pages before launch — terms and conditions, complaints and withdrawal are mandatory.
9. Troubleshooting
I don’t see “Branike WooKit”. Must be active WooCommerce also the WooKit plugin (via HUB). Check both.
Legal pages were not created. Launch again Guide or use the button in the respective tab to create a page; alternatively, create the page manually and insert the appropriate shortcode.
Shipping/cash on delivery is not displayed at checkout. Check if the module Carriers enabled and set up (separate guide), and whether you have shipping zones defined in WooCommerce.
VAT for foreign transactions doesn’t match. If you are selling to the EU, enable and configure the module OSS (separate guide) — otherwise WooCommerce charges only the domestic rate.
10. Related plugins and integrations
- Branike PDF Invoices — WooKit automatically attaches an invoice to emails and adds a “Download Invoice” button in the customer’s account.
