Complete guide: Branike LMS (courses)

1. What it is and what it is used for

Branike LMS is system for creating and selling online courses directly in your website. You build a course from lessons (text, video, audio, quiz), manage access and track how students progress:

Kompletný sprievodca: Branike LMS (kurzy)
  • courses and lessons (text / video / audio / quiz),
  • quizzes and certificates after completion,
  • student’s progress, time-based content release (drip), free preview lesson,
  • free and paid courses, player without the option to download content.

2. For whom and when

For everyone who wants to teach or sell know-how — training, online courses, membership learning section. You deploy it when you want to:

  • offer structured education with progress and certificates,
  • sell courses (one-time or as part of a membership),
  • protect videos and materials before downloading,
  • combine online and offline (hybrid courses linked to events).

3. What to expect — and what LMS does not do

What LMS does: courses and lessons, quizzes, certificates, progress, drip, previews, paid/free access, custom video/audio player without downloading, Instructor role, “My Courses” and certificates in the student’s account.

What LMS deliberately does not do:

  • there is no cash register — payment for a paid course is handled by WooCommerce or membership; LMS manages access and learning,
  • this is not a reference manual — Branike Knowledge Base serves for documentation and guides; LMS is structured learning with progress,
  • does not protect video absolutely (not DRM) — prevents ordinary downloading, combined with file protection.

4. Installation and License

Branike LMS is installed and activated through Branike HUB It seems your message got cut off — you only sent “(návod:” without any actual text to translate. Please provide the full text you’d like me to translate from Slovak to English. Your first plugin via Branike HUB) — the license will be set by HUB. After activation, you will find in the left menu the item Branike LMS. For the top account menu (“My courses”, “Certificates”) it is recommended Blocksy child theme.

5. Quick Start (3 Steps)

  1. Open Branike LMS → Add Course and create a course (name, short description, thumbnail image, price if paid).
  2. Add lessons (text/video/audio/quiz) and arrange them into a curriculum.
  3. Publish the course. Tip: in Settings you can create with one click sample course and test the entire chain lesson → quiz → completion → certificate.

6. Where to Find What

In the left menu Branike LMSIt seems your message contains only a colon with no text to translate. Please provide the Slovak text you’d like translated.

  • Dashboard — overview.
  • Courses — list of courses; for each Edit · Publish/Draft · Duplicate · Trash.
  • Add course — creating a new course.
  • Reports — overview of students and progress (the lecturer sees their courses).
  • Settings — appearance (color/accent of LMS surfaces), sample course, additional options.
  • License a Guide.

In the course editor, you are building curriculum (lessons), for each lesson you set the type (text/video/audio/quiz), duration, drip (release over time), free demo and possibly a link to event (hybrid course).

The student has their own “My Courses” a “Certificates” in your account.

7. How to Do It — Specific Tasks

Create a course. Course add → fill in the name, short description, thumbnail image, price type (free/paid).

Add lessons. In the course editor, add lessons, select the content type (text/video/audio/quiz), enter the duration and description. Change the order by dragging and dropping.

Set up a quiz. Add lesson type quiz, enter questions and the pass threshold — once completed, the course moves forward / issues a certificate.

Release content gradually (drip). For a lesson, set a drip — it will become available only after a certain time from enrollment.

Offer a preview. Mark the lesson as free demo — an unregistered interested party will also see it.

Sell a paid course. Set the course as paid and link it to sales (separate guide: How to do it: Selling a course).

Hybrid course (online + offline). Link the lesson with events (Branike Podujatia) — attendance at an event marks the lesson as completed.

8. Tips and Best Practices

  • Divide the content into short lessons — are better tracked and completed.
  • Add a free preview — increases sales of a paid course.
  • Quiz + certificate give the course value and a sense of completion.
  • Unify the LMS color with your brand through accent color settings (globally and per course).

9. Troubleshooting

The student cannot see the course content. Please check if it is registered (for paid after payment) and whether the lesson is not locked drip.

The top menu “My Courses” is not displaying. Requires Blocksy child theme (the current version). Without it, courses are accessible through the account page.

Video can be downloaded / shows downloading. Use the built-in LMS player (without native menu with downloading); or combine with file protection.

The certificate was not issued. Verify that the student completed all lessons and passed the quiz (success threshold).
